First Aid

First AidOur First Aid courses are taught in an interactive and practical environment, providing learners with the opportunity to put their skills into practice. Attendees will learn crucial life saving skills that will allow them to confidently deal with a casualty.

First Aid at WorkThe First Aid at Work course is designed to train individuals and company staff that require HSE approved first aid at work training to meet the requirements of First Aid at Work (1981) Regulations. The First Aid at Work course will give individuals the knowledge and confidence to deal with a casualty at work with breathing difficulties, bleeding, fractures, burns and other injuries prior to the emergency services arrival. An assessment is conducted at the end of the course.

First aid at workThe First Aid at Work Requalification course is designed for individuals who have at least 3 months left to run on their First Aid at work certificate and require to re-qualify for a further 3 years. The course covers all the topics covered in the full First Aid at Work course in sufficient detail and will consist of a final assessment.

Appointed person courseThe Emergency First Aid / Appointed Person course is designed to train individuals and employees that require appointed person training in basic first aid skills. This course will give individuals the knowledge and confidence to enable the appointed persons to take charge of an incident and carry out the most important life saving skills in the absence of/or until a First Aider arrives.

This course is also useful as a refresher for current qualified First Aiders

CardioThe Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation & Automated External Defibrillation course is designed to train individuals and company staff that require CPR and AED training. This course will provide the required skills necessary to manage a patient that is unconscious and not breathing normally prior to the arrival of the emergency services.

This course meets the recommendations of the Resuscitation Council (UK) for training CPR and the use of Automated External Defibrillators.

This course will be delivered in accordance with the Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines.
