| These courses meet the requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. The regulations require that 'an employer shall provide, or ensure there is provided, such numbers of suitable persons as is adequate and appropriate in the circumstances for rendering first aid to his employees if they become ill or injured at work'. |
| Basic first Aid/Nominated Persons- 1 day course |
This course is useful for those wishing to acquire essential skills for the emergency care of individuals, understanding the dangers of an emergency scene and how to evaluate effectively. |
| Refresher first Aid at Work- 2 day course |

| First Aid at Work - 4 day course |
| This course is designed to follow set procedures at a layperson's level, to the same emergency aid skills used by professionals. It covers primary and secondary care, treatment and management of medical emergencies in the workplace. This qualification lasts 3 years. |
| Paediatric First Aid - 2 day course |
| This course is designed to teach those attending the appropriate CPR/First Aid skills for the care of infants and children. Paediatric First Aid makes excellent training for teachers, child care staff, school bus drivers, parents, grandparents and baby sitters. |
